How to register your requirements

Three minutes on the phone or three lines on the form. Either way, the same three questions.

1

Area

Where you need to be, and how far you are willing to travel from it.

2

Budget

The monthly rent you can support – referencing tests income against this figure, so honesty here saves weeks.

3

Type

Studio, one, two or three bedrooms; house or flat; furnished or not.

Coverage

Where we search

Our coverage is West London and the boroughs that border it. We also take on properties in Camden and Islington where the landlord is already working with us.

Practical

Three things that speed up a search

Small details at registration save weeks later.

  • Know your earliest move-in date, not just the month
  • Decide whether parking or outside space is a must-have or a nice-to-have
  • If income is variable or you are new to the UK, say so – the guarantor route is normal, not a problem

Affordability, honestly

Referencing tests your income against the rent. As a rule of thumb an annual income of around thirty times the monthly rent is the threshold; a guarantor is the usual route where income falls short. We tell you at the enquiry stage which route applies rather than after you have paid a holding deposit.

After you register

We reply with what matches today. If nothing does, we keep your requirements and contact you when something does – you are not sent properties you already said no to.
